Terms of Service | Elect Tech Repair Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Elect Tech Repair Servicewebsite, customer portal, and repair services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity that occurs under your account. If an account is created for you in-store by our staff, you’ll receive an email invitation to set your own password.

2. Repair Services

Each repair is governed by a separate liability waiver and release form, signed at the time you drop off your device, which sets out the specific terms of that repair — including diagnostic fees, payment terms, and limitations on our liability for device or data loss. These Terms apply in addition to, not in place of, that per-repair waiver. We cannot guarantee repair outcomes, and some devices — particularly those with prior damage or prior repair attempts — may not be restorable to their original condition.

3. Pricing & Estimates

Online price estimates, our published price list, and quotes given over chat, email, or phone are estimates only. The exact price for your repair may vary based on your device’s actual condition, the parts required, and part availability, and will be confirmed before work begins.

4. Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from us related to your repairs and account as described in our consent form at signup. You can update your marketing communication preferences at any time by contacting us at info@electtechrepair.com.

5. Unclaimed Devices

If we’re unable to reach you and a completed repair is not picked up within the period stated on your repair’s waiver (currently 60 days from completion), the device is considered abandoned and ownership transfers to Elect Tech Repair Service, as set out in that waiver.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elect Tech Repair Service’s liability arising from the Service or a repair is limited to the amount you paid for that repair. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
